The individual state profiles posted below contain a wealth of state-specific data on the state's testing program, trends in subgroup performance as well as achievement gaps for all the years with comparable data, and numbers of test-takers. Please refer to the file titled "Subgroup Achievement and Gap Trends" for the state-specific data on trends that were used to develop the Part 3 report on 8th grade student achievement.

The state profiles posted on this Web site include information that the Center on Education Policy (CEP) and the Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO) obtained from states from November 2009 through June 2010. We are extremely grateful to the state departments of education in the 50 participating states and the District of Columbia for their cooperation in making these data available and their involvement in verifying the data.
